Week 16: Electrical rough in and stucco

Tony did a quick rough in of the plumbing drains early in the week, which meant Kevin could come and start the electrical. We did a walkthrough with Shaun and Amber and made a lot of the key decisions to move things forward.

On the outside, the stucco is being applied to the back and sides of the house. The front will be finished with a combination of stone and longboard.

Final post

Week 40: Move in!!!

Move in day was a success! The house looks great Shaun and Amber have been an absolute pleasure to work with (also confirmed by the fact that my trades love them too!). We can't start landscaping the outside for another 4-6 weeks, so more photos will follow when that's all done!

Week 2: Footings and bench pinning

Phil, Miguel's footing guy, was in at the start of the week to layout the footings. After pouring, I was able to get Thom in there to form and pour the bench pinning (kind of like underpinning, but poured in one shot to allow for a deeper basement level for the rec room).
