Week 30: Trim and doors

Jampa switched tasks to the casing, doors and baseboards.  I'm really liking how the house is shaping up.

Week 29: Floor installation complete

Jampa finished the 2nd floor hardwood installation and moved on to the basement where they've chosen a laminate with a similar finish to the hardwood.

Week 28: Floors begin

After a major clean up inside, Jampa arrived to start the prefinished maple wood floors.  I love the natural colour of the wood and though soft, it's going to wear well over time.

Week 27: Exterior finishes

Some of the front details are taking shape, while Fred was installing tile after the tapers finished.  The stucco guys finished the front facade (dark grey below), while George was around to do the soffits and start the longboard.  The prefinished metal product is a super long lasting, durable (and expensive) alternative to wood.  The front door looks great, though George is going to come back and make a slightly more random pattern in the various tones of "wood".
